The actual factory was founded throughout 1916 as Avtomobilnoe Moskovskoe Obshchestvo (AMO, Russian Автомобильное Московское Общество (АМО)-Moscow Motor vehicle Society). The Zil-111 was a limousine made by the Soviet car maker ZiL in 1958-1967. It was the very first post-war limousine designed within the Soviet Union.
